GP-MPPT-40 Solar Controller Terminal Connections

  • When connecting the MPPT-40 to your battery and your solar bank, the solar panel is connected to the positive and negative terminals on the left hand side of the display.
  • For a proper installation, use a 10 gauge cable from the solar panels, and a 4 gauge cable  to the battery.
  • There's two positive and two negative connectors with a battery symbol on the controller. It doesn't matter which one you use for a single installation.
  • If you have two controllers being wired in parallel, use the second set of connections to string the controllers together.
