Basic Operation and Initial Powerup
Various Power Modes:
- Power On Mode: From fully off , press and hold the power button on any of the batteries and wait till all battery LEDs turn on then release. All batteries will then transition to "Power ON" mode.
- Sleep / Storage Mode: Disable output power / discharging of batteries , but remain on to be able to read information using the GoPower App or PowerTrak Display.
- Power off Mode: Should only be used for long term storage or to reset the BMS.
For a basic setup and power on of all batteries, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure all batteries are in power off mode.
2. Connect batteries follow the series or parallel connection diagrams found here.
3. Ensure battery pack terminals are correctly installed and connected to the inverter system.
4. Press & hold the power button on one of the battery packs to wake up all battery packs from Power Off mode, release once all LEDs are on from all your connected batteries.
NOTE: Batteries are in power off mode when unboxed. Press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on. If it doesn't turn on, you will need to charge the battery.
5. The batteries need to be configured before they can be used. Please watch our youtube video on how to setup the batteries via the app , or simply plug in our PowerTrak display to auto configure your Advance lithium batteries.
