- Download the Go Power Connect! app
- Fully power off all batteries (or single battery).
- If multiple batteries are used: Connect all batteries with the proper communication cables. The following cables are shown below:
- Cable 2: Is primarily used to connect multiple batteries together. You will need a max of two terminating resistors and X - number of "Cable 2"s where "X" is one less than the total number of ADV-Lithium batteries used.
- For Ex: Setting up eight batteries you would need two terminating resistors, and "8-1" = 7 "Cable 2"s.
- Cable 1: Is commonly not used for setup, it is for RV-C Integrators to utilize the batteries within their RV-C system. This can be ignored.
- Users using only one battery: You don't need Cables 1,2 or the Terminating Resistor. Please keep the provided connector caps that are originally on the Battery(s) themselves. Continue to Step 3.
- If multiple batteries are used: Connect all batteries with the proper communication cables. The following cables are shown below:

- The following screen will appear, please click the appropriate button that fits your user needs
- Option A: If you're setting up batteries all in parallel or series, choose the first button
- Option B: If you have a combination of both series and parallel choose the bottom left button.
- Option C: If you have only one battery choose the bottom right button
- Please move over the the next appropriate step that matches your chosen option.
- Option A: Simple Setup, Setting up multiple batteries in all parallel or series will load into the following screen:
- First, confirm the number of available batteries are detected, if so move to step 2.
- Second, select if your setup is in parallel or in series.
- Third, select start to begin the auto configuration process.
- Proceed to the final step 10 after setup is shown as complete.
- Option B: Advance Setup, The following screen will appear. Please understand each operation of the buttons on the screen prior to configuration.

- Press Setup for each individual battery to configure it.
- NOTE: Every battery MUST go through the "Battery Setup" screen and be configured properly, failure to do so will cause the batteries to not communicate properly.
- Please follow the conditions for the Battery Setup:
- All Batteries must have a unique Battery Instance, regardless in parallel or series (Example: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
- Batteries in series must have the same series string value. (Example: 1,1,1,1 = 4 batteries are in series)
- Batteries wired in parallel must be unique series string value from each other. (Example: 1,2,3,4 = 4 batteries are in parallel)
- There must be only one master per DC source. All other batteries on the DC source must be in secondary.
- Recommendation is to set "Battery Instance 1" to "Master" and all other connected batteries to "Secondary" to avoid error.
- Please follow the conditions for the Battery Setup:
